We are a selfhelp group of african men and women living in Germany.
Why do we need our own african immigrants and refugees network?
- The different cultural backgrounds leads to among other things in the valuations of HIV/AIDS to different results from those of the europeans.It is sometimes not even possible to tell someone,not even your own family members.This topic is still filled with tabus.The magnitude of the effect of the idea that a young african woman cannot be a mother is for the european for example not something they can understand.
- Ontop of the many forms of discriminations and stigmatisations because of HIV/AIDS and colour of their skin are the african immigrants and refugees in social isolation in a country that they did not originate from.They luck,and that sometimes with good reasons,the trusting of people who don’t understand their culture or speak their languge.
- They don’t need good intentioned compassion or patronizing assistance but the possibility to solve their problems together.
- The working together and the common destiny with people of the same or similar cultural environment enables an important home feeling in a foreign country.
- The emphasis of the organisation should be on the situation of HIV infected immigrants and refugees of african origin regardless of gender or sexual orientation.

Our goals are:
- To positively improve the life of african men, women and children in germany.
- Helping in the prevention of the infections epidemie among the africans living in germany as par our resources and possibilities.This should be done through a strong prevention action that fits into the culture,language,behaviour,experience and the daily communications methods of the africans.
- Talking to already infected people and inviting them to meetings inorder to help them out of their loneliness,worries,personal suffering and depression caused by the disease.
- To improve our social situation and our limited medical provitions.
- We cater for ourselves, our families, our health and the life as immigrants.
- We have a duty for the collective,the community and the outside world.
Integration means to us:

- Sensible and considerate relations with each other

We fight against our despair, our loneliness, our isolation, our personal destiny,.the daily discrimination in the individual life situation.
